Kennewick Grid Kids

2021 KGK Spring Registration

Thank you for joining us for the KGK Spring Football Season. We're excited to bring this opportunity to our families who missed out on our 2020 Fall Season. In many ways our spring season will look like the fall seasons you've experienced in the past. There will be some small differences, like Sunday games, new locations, and enhanced sanitization and safety protocols due to COVID.  We've included information about most of the basics below.

Please read through each page in the registration carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information available.

season dates

March 8-May 16, 2021
To increase accessibility to multi-sport athletes and avoid competing with other spring sports games will be played on Sundays. We understand our athletes have missed many sports over the past year. Our goal is to create a schedule that keeps athletes from having to choose.

Important Dates

March 1-6* Gear Pick Up and Uniform Fitting (by appointment)
March 6 New Player Tryouts (by appointment)
March 8-12 First Week of Practice
March 28 Games Begin (tentative date)
May 2-9 Playoffs (tentative dates)

*All tackle players and cheerleaders must attend a gear/uniform appointment

Practice days, times, and locations will be determined by individual teams. We are currently working with the City of Kennewick and Kennewick School District to finalize game locations. In an effort to allow the maximum number of spectators and to preserve the field condition of Eastgate Park for our fall season, games will likely be played in a variety of locations each weekend. Our top priority is to keep all divisions within an organization at the same game day location.

Please note that participant ages for spring season are determined by the participant's age on July 1, 2020. This is the league age the participant would have been for the 2020 fall season.
